Sub-event RSVP · every plan

A yes or no for every part of the day.

Weddings have parts: welcome drinks, the ceremony, the reception, the morning-after brunch. Put them all on one invitation and every guest answers each one. You get a headcount for every room, plus-ones included, without a spreadsheet.

One invitation

The whole celebration lives on a single invitation page, with a schedule guests can check any time.

An answer per part

Guests say yes or no to each part they are invited to. The guest who flies home before brunch tells you so.

A headcount per part

Your guest list shows how many people are coming to each part, plus-ones included, and each guest's answers.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add the parts

In your event's Content page, add each part with its date, time, and place: welcome drinks, ceremony, reception, brunch.

  2. 2

    Guests answer

When a guest accepts, the RSVP form asks "Which events will you attend?" with a yes or no for each part.

  3. 3

    Read the counts

Your Guests page shows the headcount for each part and every guest's answers. Give each number to the right caterer or venue.

Why one headcount is not enough

A single "attending" box gives you one number for a weekend that has four different rooms, four different caterers, and four different transport plans. The welcome drinks might be 60 people, the ceremony 120, the reception 118 because two guests have a flight, and the brunch 45. If you only asked once, you are guessing three of those numbers.

Asking per part also makes guests more honest. It is easier to say "yes to the wedding, no to the brunch" than to decide whether to tick one box for everything. And because the answers live on the same guest list as meal preferences and dietary notes, the reception count and the vegetarian count come from the same source.

Good for

  • Wedding weekends

Welcome drinks, ceremony, reception, and a farewell brunch.

  • Cultural weddings

Mehndi, sangeet, ceremony, and reception across several days.

  • Destination weddings

A beach dinner, the wedding day, and a boat trip, each with its own count.

  • Galas and conferences

Drinks reception, dinner, and an after-party, counted separately.

Not everyone invited to everything? Untick a part on a guest's row and they will only see the parts they are invited to, so a family-only rehearsal dinner stays family-only.

Questions

What is sub-event RSVP?
It means one invitation can hold several parts of your celebration (welcome drinks, ceremony, reception, brunch) and every guest answers yes or no for each part. You get a separate headcount for each, instead of one number for the whole weekend.
Where do I see who is coming to each part?
On your Guests page. A "Coming to each part" card shows the headcount for every part, plus-ones included, and each guest's row shows their answers, such as "Ceremony ✓ · Brunch ✕".
Do plus-ones count toward each part?
Yes. If a guest is bringing one extra person and says yes to the reception, the reception headcount goes up by two.
What if a guest declines the whole event?
They are counted out of every part automatically, so a decline never lingers as a yes in one of your headcounts.
Can guests change their answers?
Yes. Until your RSVP deadline, a guest can reopen their link and change any answer. After the deadline, RSVPs close and changes come to you directly.
Can I invite some guests to only some parts?
Yes. On your Guests page, open a guest's "Plus-ones & parts of the event" and untick the parts they are not invited to. They will only see, and answer, the parts that are left.
Is it included on the free plan?
Yes. Sub-event RSVP is on every plan, including Free (one event, up to 50 people).
